Next month I will be heading to Brooklyn, NY along with pianist Mark Shilansky to make some 7" records of some of our soon-to-be recorded tunes with Leesta Vall Sound Recordings as part of their Direct-To-Vinyl Live Sessions project. This is a pretty cool concept and I'm so excited and honored to be a part of it! 

Here's how it works: When you preorder one of these little vinyl records, you choose your song from our page on their site, and then Mark and I will perform it live for you as the record's cut IN REAL TIME. You'll be the only owner of that particular live performance, ever, in the world, for eternity. We are going to do one unique take of a song per vinyl, so if 3 people order the same song that's 3 completely different records! You'll be the proud owner of a one-of-a-kind record to play on your record player (or if you don't own a record player, to keep on a shelf knowing you're cool and have something no one else has :-)))) These records will be pre-order only, so click the link below to purchase your own special unique, dedicated version of one of my songs. 

I'm going to say it a different way so you all understand the deal: These recordings are live, in studio takes of one song each which are recorded by Leesta Vall Sound Recordings a niche record label based in Brooklyn, NY focussing on vinyl releases. They will be recorded in their studios with no tracking or overdubs of any kind. Just a song played live and cut to limited edition 7" lathe cut records. Think of these little records as an audio polaroid; they capture the music in its truest form, live, in real time resulting in a completely unique piece of physical merchandise that the owner can cherish forever. As the recordings are made one at a time they are going to be quite limited and will sell out very, very soon - no kidding.
